Tex Ann Kraft Named Senior Director of Business Development
AQHA appoints Tex Ann Kraft to oversee corporate partner and sponsor relationships as senior director of business development and promotes Jazlyn Rice to business development manager.

The American Quarter Horse Association is pleased to announce the addition of Tex Ann Kraft as the Association’s new senior director of business development and the promotion of Jazlyn Rice to AQHA’s business development manager.
“Bringing Tex Ann on board and promoting Jazlyn provides an exciting management foundation for our development efforts,” said Carl Mullins, AQHA chief publishing officer. “Tex Ann has experience working on significant partnerships and brings additional marketing expertise that we believe will benefit our partners in their promotional efforts. Jazlyn has proven to be a top performer on our sales team and has shown natural leadership in her time at the Association. I look forward to working with these two leaders for years to come.”

In her new role, Kraft will plan and direct strategy, sales and implementation of corporate partnerships. She will establish and maintain working relationships with AQHA’s partners, in addition to assisting in providing strategic and execution guidance for AQHA’s publications and digital media assets. Kraft will also develop pricing and program strategies with the goal of maximizing AQHA profits or share of the market, while ensuring AQHA customers are satisfied.
Kraft’s resume boasts several accomplishments before joining AQHA’s development management team. She was vice president of strategic development with Turn-Key Marketing & Promotions Inc.; vice president of marketing North America with AMC Theatres Inc.; senior event marketing manager – corporate brand and sponsorships with Sprint Inc.; and consumer loyalty strategist and retail programs administrator with Hallmark Cards Inc. Kraft has received numerous awards in her previous roles, including AMC Commitment Star Award, Advertising Age’s SAM Award, Sprint Values Excellence Award and Hallmark Chairman’s Marketing Home Run Award.
In her new position, Rice will direct the management of all advertising accounts. She will work with AQHA’s chief publishing officer to formulate advertising sales plans and set goals. In addition, Rice will serve as a public relations liaison between advertisers and other industry figures on farms and at major horse shows, sales, races and events.
Prior to joining the Association as an account executive in 2016, Rice was a territory sales manager for Ariat International. She was also an intern at Platinum Performance Inc.; sales representative for Club Twenty Four; program coordinator for the California Farm Bureau Federation; and sales executive at Chicago Title Co.
